Project Description
A Canadian manufacturer of drinking water products required a reliable thermal fluid heating solution to support its in-house plastic bottle recycling operations. As part of its circular manufacturing strategy, the company processes post-consumer PET bottles and plastic flakes into premium food-grade recycled PET (rPET) material for reuse in new packaging.
AURA Process Heat engineered and supplied a 160 kW electrically heated thermal fluid system for indoor installation, delivering precise process temperatures of up to 572°F. The system provides stable and uniform heat throughout the recycling process, ensuring optimal conditions for transforming recycled PET feedstock into high-quality food-grade material.
The solution enhances process efficiency, supports sustainable manufacturing practices, and enables consistent production of recycled PET while contributing to reduced plastic waste and resource conservation.
