Project Description

A leading packaging materials manufacturer required a high-capacity electric heating solution to support its sustainability strategy while ensuring reliable process heating. To reduce dependence on fluctuating electricity prices and lower carbon emissions, the company invested in an on-site photovoltaic (PV) system capable of generating a significant portion of the energy required for its manufacturing operations.

AURA Process Heat engineered and supplied a 3 MW electric thermal fluid heating system that efficiently converts electrical energy into thermal energy using thermal oil as the heat transfer medium. Designed to deliver process temperatures of up to 752°F, the system enables precise and reliable heating for the production of paper-based packaging materials.

By integrating with the customer’s renewable energy infrastructure, the AURA solution allows more than half of the production line’s heating demand to be supplied using self-generated solar electricity. The result is a highly energy-efficient, low-emission heating solution that supports long-term operational sustainability and cost stability.
