Project Description
A nonwoven material manufacturer producing hygiene and filtration products required highly stable roll heating for calendering and laminating processes. Temperature inconsistencies across calender rolls were causing bonding defects and variations in material quality.
The production environment demanded continuous operation with precise heat distribution across large roller surfaces. Existing heating systems lacked the control accuracy required for high-speed nonwoven processing lines.
AURA Process Heat engineered a customized thermal oil heating system designed specifically for calender roll heating and laminating applications, ensuring uniform temperature distribution and stable process performance.
What is Challenge for client?
Nonwoven manufacturing processes rely heavily on precise and uniform heating during bonding and finishing operations. The client experienced:
- Uneven temperature distribution across calender rolls
- Product inconsistencies and bonding defects
- Reduced process efficiency during continuous production
- High maintenance requirements from aging heating systems
- Difficulty achieving stable process temperatures at high production speeds
